Michael C. Tabor

d. June 11, 2025

Stewartstown

Michael C. Tabor, born March 26, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2025, from a heart attack. He was 66 years old. He was the son to Frances (Grasso) Heiser and the late Grover C. Tabor.

Michael was a devoted brother, uncle, son, and friend — someone whose heart was as big as his laugh and whose loyalty ran deep. His love for his family defined his life, and he held those closest to him with unwavering care and commitment. Family was everything to Michael, and he showed that love in both big gestures and everyday moments. His love language was most defined by ‘acts of service’.

A proud Baltimorean, Michael was a lifelong Ravens fan. Sundays in the fall were sacred, filled with football, camaraderie, and celebration. He also found joy and peace in the outdoors — whether teeing off on the golf course or out on the water charter fishing, where he felt most connected to the world around him.

Michael was the founder and owner of his own endoscopic equipment repair company. He poured his energy and pride into his work, building a reputation for diligence, integrity, and technical excellence. He worked tirelessly, never cutting corners, and always striving to do things the right way.

He had a special place in his heart for his mother, whose influence and love shaped the man he became. His devotion to her remained a guiding force in his life.

Among his closest relationships was the bond he shared with his brother Rick — his "Irish twin" and best friend. The two were inseparable in both heart and spirit, sharing a deep connection built on love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories.

Michael is survived by his mother; Fran Heiser; stepdad, Harry Heiser; brothers, Rick and Steve; three sisters, Karen, Melissa and Ann Marie along with many beloved nieces and nephews whose lives were made better by his guidance, humor, and unwavering love.

Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 18 from 11am-12pm at Norrisville United Methodist Church in White Hall, Maryland. A Celebration of Life will begin at noon at the church. Interment will take place following the service in the adjoining cemetery.

In honor of Michael, the family asks that you do what he did best: love deeply, laugh often, and never take a moment with loved ones for granted.
