M. Earl Isennock, Sr.

Millard “Earl” Isennock, Sr., 91, of Spring Grove, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Born in Sweet Air, Maryland, he was the son of the late Maurice E. and Sarah E. (Clayton) Isennock. He was the loving husband to the late Antoinette Isennock.

Earl enjoyed many things in life with his family and friends. He would try to do anything for those he loved. He grew up on the family farm milking cows. He then ventured into owning his own auto and agricultural repair businesses, Fork Sinclair Station in Fork, Md. and Isennock Service Center in Stewartstown and Glen Rock, Pa. He even purchased his own farm in Glen Rock, Pa. Earl could fix and repair almost anything. Earl was also known for his skills in construction and as a heavy equipment operator. He worked endless hours in this field for many contractors, friends, and family. Earl was a man of many trades. Earl was also a proud member of Masonic Charity Lodge #134 in Parkton, Md receiving his 50 year pin about 2 years ago.

He is remembered and survived by his four children, Diana Morris (Donald A. Morris), M. Earl Isennock, Jr., Linda Norman, and Virginia “Ginger” Maesar (Henry Maesar); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Bernice Anderson, Jean Essell; and sisters-in-law, Elaine Isennock, and Cindy Isennock. Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Peter Isennock, and Robert Isennock; son-in-law, H. Wayne Norman; and brothers-in-law, Marion Anderson and Andrew Essell; and eight other siblings.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, August 18th from 10am-12pm at McComas Family Funeral Home, 50 W. Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014. The funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349 is assisting the family with arrangements.
