Miranda Christine Pinder, 25, of Seven Valleys, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born in Baltimore, she was the loving daughter of Mark and Christine (DiVenti) Pinder.
Miranda was a 2018 graduate of Dallastown Area High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and multiple music programs. She would always do anything to help and support anyone in need. She played the trombone in the school marching band, jazz band, and concert band. She was also a member of the Loganville 4-H Club. Miranda graduated from Penn State University Park class of 2023 with her bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations. She was working at the Harrisburg Area Community College York Campus.
She was a gamer at heart, enjoying playing board games and video games. Miranda was a tea connoisseur and enjoyed all different types of food. She was also an advocate for mental health; helping anyone who needed love and support. She always showed kindness and empathy to everyone around her. Miranda absolutely loved her family and was a loving and loyal sister to William and her German Shephard, Sage.
Miranda is remembered by her parents, Mark and Christine Pinder; brother, William M. Pinder; grandparents, John O. Pinder, Beverly Joy Pinder; godparents and aunt and uncle, Tony DiVenti, Jr., Tara DiVenti; aunt and uncle, Karen Pinder-Hudson, Scott Hudson; cousins, Joe DiVenti, Paul DiVenti, Ron Dieter III, Brandon Dieter, and Mindy Dieter. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anthony John DiVenti Sr., and Marylou Francis DiVenti.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 9th at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA. Interment will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Miranda’s memory to the York Food Bank at https://yorkfoodbank.org/donate/.
