Nadine J. Laucks

Nadine J. (Almoney) Laucks, 66, of Windsor Township, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Jack H. Almoney, Sr. and Irene R. Almoney, who passed away April 23, 2025.

Born on March 11, 1959, Nadine spent her life devoted to her family and friends. Nadine worked for many years at Gichner, where she built lasting friendships and took pride in her work. She loved traveling, especially to Mexico, with her life partner, Ed Paules. Before falling ill to Early Onset Dementia, she found great joy in spending time with her son, Shane M. Laucks, his wife, Jackie Laucks, her grandchildren, Brittany L. Laucks and Ryan M. Laucks; son, Jeremy J. Laucks, and grandson, Jakob Shaffer.

She is also survived by her brothers, Anthony A. Almoney and his wife, Wanda, Todd W. Almoney, and Troy E. Almoney, and his wife, Dotti, sister-in-law, Eileen Almoney, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack H. Almoney, Jr.

Nadine endured a difficult journey with Early Onset Dementia, which brought many challenges both for her and those who loved her. Despite the hardships, her strength continued to shine through. Nadine will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for her family, and the resilience she showed throughout her life.

A private memorial will be held by the family to honor their loved one.
