Nancy Louise (Walker) Grubb, 91, of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. Born in York, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Walker and Treva (Bortner) Walker. She was the loving wife of the late, Ernest Harvey Grubb, Jr., with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Nancy was a proud graduate of Hereford High School, Class of 1953. She dedicated more than 25 years of service to Becton Dickinson in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
She was a devoted member of Bethlehem Steltz Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Parkton, Maryland. She enjoyed quilting, helping with church suppers, and volunteering for church activities, including the West Liberty sub sales. Nancy especially cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Roxanne S. Hostetter (Gary Jr.) and Donna Fowble (Glen). She was a devoted grandmother to Kelly Webb (Brian), Stephanie Krebs (Ty), Brittany Yeager (Steven), Courtney Fowble and her fiancé Anthony Kellner. Nancy was also blessed with six cherished great-grandchildren: Cooper Webb, Colbie Webb, Laura Krebs, Crue Krebs, Ryker Yeager, and Sadie Yeager. She is further survived by her sister, Patsy Stevens; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She was preceded by her brother, Terry Walker.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 22 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Nancy’s honor to the Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery fund.
