Nancy S. Lasher (Spott)

Nancy S. Lasher, 90, formerly of Glen Rock, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was the loving wife of Robert W. Lasher and they celebrated 55 years of marriage in August 2016. There will be a Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave, New Freedom. The family will receive condolences following the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Nancy was born in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Herbert A. and Ruth (Hugg) Spott. She had worked as a receptionist in the healthcare industry. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and volunteered at the Glen Rock Library. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four children, Patricia A. Hodges and her husband, William of Parkville, MD, Richard H. Clifton and his wife, Linda of Sapphire, NC, Derek W. Lasher of Meridian, MS, and Laurie A. Perry and her husband, Peter P. Perry, Jr. of Spring Grove; two step children, Linda S. Edwards and her husband, Ronald of Fairfax, VA, and Robert D. Lasher and his wife, Sonya of Fort Worth, TX; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Spott of West Chester; and a niece. She was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd K. Clifton III; a step son, G. Michael Lasher; and a granddaughter, Amy Edwards.
