Nathle Virginia Stahl

Nathle Virginia Stahl, 93, of Westminster, MD, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster.BornAugust 1, 1922, in Parkton,MD, she was a daughter of the late Norman Mayes and Nina Agnes (Gemmil) Griffin.She was wife of the late Walter Stahl. Nathle had been employed at Merry-Go-Round Enterprises, Inc., retiring in 1987. She loved spending time with her family and participating in her monthly card games with her siblings. She attended West End Place Adult Day Care and BINGO was a must! She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Jamart and his wife Saundra G. of Westminster, MD; a daughter, Nathle P. Johnson and her husband James E. Johnson, II, of York, PA; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Norwood Griffin and his companion Louise Spedden; Charles Griffin and his wife Olga; Nancy McDermott; Nelda Prather; Regina Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.Nathle was preceded in death by siblings, Norville Griffin and his wife, Lou Ellen Griffin; Norbert Griffin; and Norma Kiel, and her husband Howard Kiel. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the West Liberty United Methodist Church 20400 West Liberty Road, White Hall, MD 21161. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will beviewings from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm Friday, April 29 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc. 24 N. Second St., New Freedom.
