Paul Drew

L. Paul Drew, 72 of Shrewsbury PA, passed away on November 13, 2025. Born on May 12, 1953, in Carlos, MD. He was the son of the late Edward and Helen (Simpson) Drew. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara J. (Wolfe) Drew, his two brothers Edward Drew (Rhonda) of Hampstead, MD and Barry Drew (Nancy) of Pasadena, MD. He was predeceased by his brother Gregory Drew, who gave his all at the Pentagon on 9/11. His two brothers-in-law Michael Wolfe (Kitty) of Manchester MD and John Wolfe (Diane) of Orlando FL. His nieces and nephews Gregory Scott Drew (Carla) of Warrenton VA, Justin Drew of Millsboro, DE, Zach Drew (Jessica) of Lutherville MD, Erin Drew of Asheville NC and Cassidy Demos (Jim) of Bel Air MD. His two devoted basset hounds, Lucy and Buster.

Paul graduated from Hereford High School, in the class of 1972. He was active in sports. In the 1970's he played for the Carroll County Chargers of the Interstate Football League. He played Men's Class A slow pitch softball and on other softball teams. Paul retired after 29 years from Gray and Son, Inc., Timonium MD as a Paver Operator.
