Paul Edwin Lee Kirby, 80, of Hanover, PA, has passed away at home with his family on September 4, 2025. Born on July 22, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to the late Howard and Audrey Eleanor (Stallings) Kirby.
Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he did 2 tours in Vietnam. After his tours of service he went on to become a Postmaster. Paul loved to be creative, he loved making abstract art in mixed media. He took great pride in teaching art to children at the Christian School. Paul just loved people, he loved to take long drives with friends and family and many would see he was not only a devoted husband but also a devoted friend. He most importantly loved Jesus and his Heavenly Father above all. He took great pride in reading the Bible.
Paul met his wife Catherine in 2002, they had a beautiful 23 years together.
Paul is survived by his wife Catherine Kirby nee Bair, his children Dawn Maynard (Ernie), Erin Titter (Adam), Joshua Kuhn (Mary), Justin Kuhn (Amanda), Tiffany Leitzel (Adam) and his grandchildren Evan, Abigail, Luke, Olivia, Anna, Cara, Ewan, Isaac, Olivia, Ella, Taylor, Lilah, Gabriella, Mikaela, Gavin, Ethan, Nolan and Tobin, and his sister Debi Ravenscroft.
He is predeceased by his first wife Kathleen nee Kosakowski and his two brothers Rodger and Steven.
A Funeral service will be held at Hope Baptist church in Hanover, PA (6450 Hope Way, Hanover, PA 17331) on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00am.
A graveside service will follow at New Freedom Cemetery on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2:00pm, that the family wishes to extend the invite to the general public.
