Pearce “Jutzy” B. Norris, Jr., 81 of White Hall, MD passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Born on April 10, 1944 in White Hall, MD to the late Pearce, Sr. and Alma (Day) Norris. He was the husband of the late Lynne D. Norris who he loved dearly.
“Jutzy” graduated from Hereford High School in the class of 1962. He was a lifetime farmer who took great pride in volunteering for the 4H Club of Baltimore County. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during Vietnam in which he served on the third version of the DLG-31 U.S.S. Sterett. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he went on to work as a supervisor with electronics and communications for Baltimore County. He helped to install the communication systems for first responders. After retirement he went on to work for the Baltimore County Noxious Weed Team for 15 years.
“Jutzy” is survived by his son Seth J. Norris (Rebecca); daughter, Meghan B. Assi (Frankie); nephew Colt Norris, and 2 grandchildren Hailey and Liliana he is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers Bill and Donnie Norris.
A Public Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA, 17349 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. that will begin at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow in Vernon United Methodist Cemetery, White Hall, MD.
