Peggy L. Jefferies-Measley

Peggy (Rill) Measley, age 53, of New Park, PA, went home to be with Jesus, our Lord and Savior on March 13, 2026. She passed away peacefully at home, with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Brian Measley; her daughter, Samantha Rill; her sons, Jeremy Jefferies, Colt Measley, and West Measley; and her stepdaughter, Jackie Bisker. Peggy is also survived by her mother, Sharron Rill; her father- and mother-in-law, Alvin and Joyce Measley; her brothers, Dan Rill and Del Rill; her sisters, Holly Hare, Molly Fortenbaugh, Margaret Hobbs, Maria Warne, and Elena Nurse; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Collins; and her grandchildren, Lilly Bauer, Kaylee Bauer, Felicity Measley, Willow Bisker, Devina Bisker, and Elliana Bisker. She was preceded in death by her father, Delmus S. Rill.

Peggy was raised in Lineboro, MD, and attended Hereford High School. She was widely recognized for her remarkable strength, selflessness, and compassion. Throughout her life, Peggy was dedicated to caring for others, always willing to offer unwavering support to those around her. She opened her heart and home to many, treating numerous children as her own and serving as a maternal figure to all who needed her.

Honoring Peggy's wishes, there will be no public viewing. A celebration of her life will be held on April 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Parkton Legion, 19520 York Road, Parkton, MD 21120. In lieu of flowers, to assist with funerary expenses, donations will be accepted at the Celebration of Life.
