Peter Paul Simek

Peter Paul Simek, a beloved father, passed away on April 8th, 2026. He was born on June 2nd, 1958 to Emily and Alexander Simek. A native New Yorker, Peter was the youngest of five children with older siblings Alex, Marie, Michael and Kenny.

Peter loved spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman and sportsman. He was a kind, loving and gentle spirit who loved nature especially horses, snakes and birds. And he was an artist who loved to paint indoor and outdoor sculptures. He was an avid swimmer who loved his pool and spending time at the beach in the summer. He had a laugh that could fill a room and always remembered birthdays, holidays and special occasions for the people he loved. For every card he wrote he always remembered to add in his signatory line which he was famous for “Love Always with lots of Angel Hugs and Kisses”. He was a kind neighbor who was always interested in the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his son Peter Simek and wife Nicole and granddaughter Delaney and also his daughter Melissa Simek-Lemos and grandson Liam Lemos. In addition to his children he is also survived by his siblings Kenny Simek and Marie Melloy and all of his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. “We love you Dad with Lots of Angel Hugs and Kisses.”

There will be a Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, Pa 17349 on Tuesday, April 21st at 11am. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
