Randy J. Mellinger

On April 22, 2017, Randy J. Mellinger, Jr., 33, went to join his grandma and popie, the late Irvin P. and Janet Shiflett of Seven Valleys. He leaves behind his parents, Cheryl D. (Shiflett) and Randy J. Mellinger, Sr. of Seven Valleys; his nana, Shirley Mellinger of New Freedom; along with his two doggies, Arles and Mya. Randy graduated from the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 in York. The things he enjoyed most were just being with family and riding in his van. His mom and dad would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Wellspan Health for the excellent care and support he has received thru the years. A public visitation will be from 6 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom.
