Ray A. Gross

Ray Anthony Gross, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Ray was the devoted husband of Shirley Gross, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. He was a proud father to Steven Gross and Amanda Patterson, and a cherished father-in-law to Shane Patterson. One of his greatest joys was being "Ernie" to his beloved granddaughter, Paisley Gross, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.

He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Pat Birley, her husband, Bob Birley, and their daughter, Amy Mottram, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched.

Ray was known for his incredible work ethic, his generous heart, and his deep love for his family. He loved driving tractor-trailers and operating heavy equipment which he took great pride in the work he did. Whether he was on the open road or spending time with those he loved, he approached life with dedication and determination. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and was happiest when he could do something for someone else. He had a special place in his heart for children and had a way of making them smile. He also had a lifelong love for birds, especially flamingos, which always held a special place in his heart.

More than anything, Ray will be remembered for the love he gave so freely. His kindness, quiet strength, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his family is heartbroken by his passing, they find comfort in the memories they shared and the love that will remain with them forever.

Ray's legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply. He will be forever missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

In accordance with Ray's wishes, a private graveside service will be held for his immediate family. The family sincerely appreciates the love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time.
