Robert Paul Sawin

Robert Paul Sawin, 76, of Orrtanna, PA, and previously of the Seattle, Washington area, entered God’s eternal care on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.

Born June 2, 1950, in Longview, Washington, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Reid) Sawin. He was the loving husband to Judy Ann (Bosley) Sawin with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

Robert was a Certified Public Accountant and retired from OAC Services, Inc. In his free time, his passion was photography. He enjoyed using black and white large-format film. Robert also loved cats and spending his time outdoors appreciating nature.

In addition to his wife Judy, Robert is survived by one son, Christopher Sawin, three stepchildren, Steven Thornsberry, Jamie Ankers, Jenny Singer, nine step-grandchildren, Ben Thornsberry, Brittany Ankers, Dylan Ankers, Emily Ankers, Owen Ankers, Lincoln Rosengrant, Dakota Singer, Lucas Singer, Brody Singer, and three step-great-grandchildren, Caleb Blake, Cameron Blake and Emelia Ankers.

Following cremation, there will be no services.
