Robert Welker Taylor, 68, of Stewartstown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Pappus House in Thomasville, PA on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Born in Casper, Wyoming, he was the son of the late Landon Carter and Patricia Ann (Mace) Taylor. He was the loving husband of 39 years to Kimberly Ann (Kipikas) Taylor.
Bob was a people person, he never met a stranger; he would say, a stranger is just someone he hasn’t met yet. He loved having good times with his friends and family and always made sure people had plenty of food. He enjoyed drinking beer with friends around a fire, riding his bike on the trails, camping, and going for drives (if he was the one driving). Bob generally loved being outside whether he was riding his bike, camping, or just mowing the yard. He took great pride in everything he did; he would say, if you can’t do something right, don’t do it at all. Bob was also a Navy Veteran. Overall, he was a helpful, kind, and loving person and will be extremely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter, Alex Sauls, and son, Zach Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Emmett and Tanner Sauls; 3 sisters, Ann Burton, Susan Scott, and Mary Hunt; and his in-laws, Marlene and John Walsh. Bob was preceded by his parents, and 3 brothers, David, Carter, and John.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
