Robert Edward Lee Vogel, Jr.

Robert Edward Vogel, Jr., 56, of Shrewsbury, PA, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Leslie L. (Loughry) Vogel; his three children Robert Vogel, III and his wife Alexi, Alexandria Kelly and her husband Eric, and Isabella Vogel; grandchildren Robert Vogel, IV, Rayden Vogel and Henry Kelly. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Linda L. (Zook) Vogel; sisters Patricia, Cynthia (Paul), and Amanda (Brian); and nieces and nephews Rachael, Leeah, Krystal, Justin, Sarah, and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Vogel, Sr.

Robert was a United States Navy Combat Veteran serving during the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm. He was a proud Sonar Technician (STG) and stayed active over the years with his Navy shipmates from the USS San Jacinto CG-56. He also worked as a project manager with a corrugated paper machine manufacturing company.

Robert was a family man, with an unforgettable sense of humor which he passed on to his children; along with the knack of remembering movie quotes. He was a devoted husband, world’s best father, and loving grandfather. He was also a father figure and role model to all his nieces & nephews. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing, coaching, and refereeing Lacrosse. His legacy will be remembered by his family dearly.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow held at Stewartstown Baptist Church, 18361 Five Forks Rd., Stewartstown, PA 17363 on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Interment will be held private and at the convenience of the family at a later date.
