Roy Neal

Roy Neal Jr., 73, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was the loving husband of Carol (Ashburn) Neal and they celebrated fifty years of marriage in June 2020. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Roy Neal Sr. and Mary Helen (Sagner) Neal. Roy was the former President of Standard Equipment Company retiring in 2010. He was the Past Worshipful Master of Charity Lodge No. 134, A.F & A.M. in Freeland, Md. Roy enjoyed shooting with his grandson, tinkering with his John Deere, and bird watching. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Briana Neal and her husband, Mark Crouse; 2 grandchildren, Nathan and Bridget Crouse; and 2 siblings, Michael Neal and his wife, Amy, and Martha Phillips. There will be a public viewing from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 7, at Glenview Alliance Church, 10037 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, Pa 17327 and from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, January 8. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Jeffrey A. Bean officiating. Roy will be laid to rest in the Middletown Cemetery in Freeland, Md.
