Sherri Badders, 71, of Seaford, DE, and formerly of Parkton, MD, entered God’s eternal care on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Born January 25, 1955, in York, PA, Sherri was the daughter of the late Allen B. and Blanche A. (Black) Bull. She was the loving wife of Dennis C. Badders, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, and a total of 56 years spent together.

Sherri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had worked as a bank teller most recently but had also served in different capacities throughout her life, including a warehouser in New Freedom, and head cafeteria staff at the 7th District Elementary School in Baltimore County previously. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers and gardening, cooking, canning vegetables, traveling, to Chincoteague, VA or Maine which were her favorite places to visit, camping, enjoying her favorite meal of either steamed crabs or steamed lobster, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughters.

In addition to her husband Dennis, Sherri is survived by two daughters; Staci Jendrek and husband Andrew of White Hall, MD, and Loretta Brooks of York, PA; and three granddaughters; Hayley and Sarah Jendrek, and Emma Brooks. Sherri also leaves behind three sisters; JoAnne Rivers, Doris Lowe, and Mary Jane Bull, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be from 7 to 9 PM, Monday, September 21, 2026, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. Interment will be private.
