Stephen V. Provenza, Sr.

Stephen “Steve” V. Provenza, Sr., 89, of Stewartstown, passed away at home on Friday, April 10, 2026. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Stephen and Rosalina (Imbragulio) Provenza. He was the loving husband to Barbara Joann (Ficarra) Provenza for almost 69 years.

Steve was a proud Navy Veteran. He held various positions while employed at Westinghouse and retired with 34 years of service. He was very good with electronics and had his own small electronics repair shop in his home. Steve loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, York Council 1530, and was on St. Joseph’s Church – Dallastown parish council.

Steve is remembered by his wife, Barbara; 4 children, Michael, Joann, Steve Jr. and his wife Linda, and Vincent and his wife Val; 5 grandchildren, Eric, Samantha, Isaac, Melissa, and Emma; cousin, Lee Balsamo and his wife Marge.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 5-7pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. A second viewing will be on Friday, April 24th at St. Joseph Church – Dallastown, 251 E. Main St., Dallastown, PA 17313 from 10-11am with the funeral Mass starting at 11am. Interment will immediately follow in Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, MD.
