Tenea M. Sparks

Tenea M. Sparks, 64, of Pylesville, MD, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. and Janice B. (Cross) Deller. She was the loving wife of 45 years to Robin R. Sparks.

Tenea grew up in Stewartstown, attended Kennard-Dale High School and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She loved being a caregiver by helping her patients and loving and caring for her family, especially her two sons. She was an amazing mother and wife! Tenea also enjoyed making jewelry; you would always see her wearing her many beautiful rings. She always had a great attitude, was spunky and feisty.

She is remembered by her husband, Robin; two sons, Christian and Robin; and four siblings, Wade Deller, Sandy Dowell, Tony Deller, and Joey Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents, and multiple siblings.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 9am-11am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. Following the viewing, burial will take place in St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pylesville, MD.
