Timothy "Tim" Wayne Krenz, 73, of Thornbury Township in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 10, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, athletic dedication. and deep devotion to his family

• Early Life and Education
• Tim was born on April 13, 1953, and grew up in Hancock, Minnesota. A dedicated and talented athlete, he played every sport offered during high school and lettered in all of them. He later attended the University of Minnesota, where he majored in business. During his early years working at United Parcel Service (UPS), he continued his education and earned his CPA in accounting.

• Commitment to Family and Education
• Above all his professional accomplishments, family was Tim's greatest pride. Education-particularly higher education-was deeply important to him. Having worked hard for his own degrees, Tim made it a personal mission to ensure his children had every academic advantage. He dedicated himself to providing them with the absolute best education possible, supporting them completely through private schooling and on through their college achievements.

• Faith and Church Community
• Tim was deeply devoted to his faith and his church community at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He gave generously of his time. serving on a number of church boards and regularly welcoming the congregation as an usher. Tim had a profound love for the choir and the music ministry within the church. He was one of their biggest supporters, attending all of their concerts and even traveling alongside the choir on their journeys.

• Career, Relocations, and Friendships
• Tim had a long and distinguished career with United Parcel Service spanning over three decades, from 1975 until his retirement in 2009.
• His work with UPS brought him and his family to several communities across the country. He spent several years with the company in Minnesota before relocating to Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by Richmond, Virginia. He ultimately transferred to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he finished his successful career upon retirement.
• With an easy warmth and genuine character. Tim left behind many deeply cherished friends upon each move, keeping a piece of every community in his heart.
• While with UPS, Tim proudly worked with the Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBEC). In 2008, he received an award and special recognition from the organization, honoring his commitment, dedication, and exemplary leadership to the WBEC.

• Hobbies and Interests
• Tim was a true lover of the outdoors and a man of many talents. He was an avid golfer, a skilled woodworker, and a passionate gardener.
• His creative pursuits included leather crafting, and his fondness for all sports and love for travel stayed with him throughout his life Tim was also dedicated to journaling. At home, he was the ultimate family handyman basically any household project that needed to be taken on was taken on willingly and with a helpful heart.

• Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Edith Krenz, and his brother, Louis Krenz.
• He is survived by:
• o Wife: Cherie Dueffert Krenz
• o Sister: Marlys Rohloff and her husband. Deino
• o Children:
• Cameron Krenz and his partner, Lexy Rosa
• Alex Krenz
• Natalie Krenz McClain and her husband, Zander
• o Grandchildren: Kyaus and Erina McClain
• o Extended Family: Several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins on both sides of the family

• A memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held on October 2, 2026.
• at Westminster Presbyterian Church, located at 10 W Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
