Virginia Ann Badders, 82, of White Hall passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Madonna Heritage Assisted Living in Jarrettsville. She was the wife of the late Melvin Cole Badders who passed away October 14, 2018. Born in White Hall she was the daughter of the late William Cecil and Esther Early (Stailey) Hodgson. Virginia worked as a mail clerk for the US Postal Office prior to her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, horseback riding in her younger years. Virginia had a keen sense of humor, was stubborn and enjoyed farming with her husband on their farm. She also enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Virginia is survived by three children TimothyBadders and wife Donna; Lauri Leslie-Jolly and husband Ron and Cheryl Bowman and husband Glenn; five grandchildren Charles Badders, Richard Cole Bowman, Michael Bowman, Ashley Badders and Holly Baier; eight great-grandchildren; one brother Laban Hodgson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Harry Hodgson and William Hodgson, Jr. Private graveside services will be held by her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove U.M.
