Willard Robert Holmes

On Sunday, October, 21, 2018, Willard R. Holmes, 63, passed away suddenly at home.He was the loving husband of the late Gale Holmes.Willard was born on February 27, 1955 to the late Cecil and Frances (Tharp) Holmes. He is survived by one daughter, Sherri L. Lytle and her husband Jason; two grandchildren, Anissa and Eva; 8 siblings, Lillie Reed, Gearline Rineholt and husband Kenny, Norma Gillespie and companion Earl, Marie Tracy, Wilbur Holmes and wife Patty, Joyce Holmes and companion Jimmy Pritt, Carl Holmes and James Holmes; one sister-in-law, Deanna Akins and her husband George; one brother-in-law, Dennis Tracy and his wife, Deanna; and his ‘angel’ and loving companion, Daisy.He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A public viewing will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday, October 24 at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 25 at 11am.Interment will follow in Old Hopewell Cemetery, Stewartstown.
