William E. Wilson

William Edward Wilson, Sr., 67, of Stewartstown, passed away at York Hospital on July 23, 2026. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Marchell E. and Margaret M. (McGee) Wilson. He was the loving husband to Sharon K. (Meyers) Wilson.

William Edward Wilson wore many hats in his lifetime. He was a son, a brother, a friend, a provider, a chief custodian, a father and his most valued role, a husband just to name a few. While those hats were heavy for him to wear at times, he always found joy in sharing his life’s stories, making others laugh with his silly jokes, singing his favorite Moody Blues songs loud and proud, cooking on the grill all year round, camping, spoiling his dogs and selflessly sharing his chocolates with his grandkids. He certainly left his mark on those who knew and loved him. Carry on way ward son. You’re finally able to rest in peace.

He is surived by his wife, Sharon; children, Timothy L. Meyers, Jennifer R. Famolaro and her husband Bruce P. Jr., William E. Wilson Jr., and Stephanie L. Wilson; grandchildren, Jesse L. Litte Jr., Adriene “Lilly” Famolaro, Rayne L. Perez, Jayden T. Wilson, and Paige M. Famolaro; parents, Marchell and Margaret Wilson; siblings, Elmer E. Wilson, Kathleen M. Wilson, April M. Tevis, May M. Rogers, and Penny M. Wilson; and his best friend, Harry McLaughlin and his wife Denise.

All are invited to a viewing on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S, Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363 from 2-4pm with a funeral service starting at 4pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
