Charlotte Ann Williams

June 19, 1941 - May 21, 2021

Born on June 19, 1941, left her earthly body to be in the presence of her Lord & Saviour on May 21, 2021 at 2:00pm, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Cecil Williams who died in 2005. She was the daughter of the late Frances Getz and Mary (Mays) Getz. She was number 7 of eleven children. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers; Betty Holmes, Phyllis Gemmill, Loveda Price, Sue Seitz, Thomas Getz and Jim Getz. She is also survived by her four children; Carole Powers, Cecil Williams and companion Angela Farrington, Lucille Hollingshead and husband Larry, and Kathleen Williams; there are ten grandchildren and five step grandchildren; Monica Aherne (Mike), Lisa Eyeler (Cameron), Leanne Strouth (Timothy), Joseph Powers (Kelly), Brandie Beard (Casey), Christopher Beard (Brittany), Kyle Beard (Autumn), Destiny Williams, Grace Williams, Garrett Elswick, Somar Patrick, Autumn Patrick, Joseph Farrington, David Farrington and Katie DeCeulaerde. She had twenty four great grandchildren and two on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She retired from SAFT Corp after 27 years. In 2005, she started working for Rutter’s in Fawn Grove. She was employed there for 15 years as “the coffee lady.” She enjoyed talking to all of “her customers.” She was a very faithful servant at her church, “Oakland Church,” where she was in charge of the music ministry. She was well liked and loved by many whose lives she has crossed, especially her childhood friend Ginny Mae Edwards. Her Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Oakland Church; 1415 Oakland Rd., Freeland, MD 21053 at 11:00am. Burial will be at Mt. Zion U.M. Cemetery; 20901 Mt. Zion Rd., Freeland, MD 21053. A special thanks to Lisa & Cameron Eyeler for such great care of her until she passed.
